If we’re going to have t-shirts, and I’d love us to have t-shirts, then we’re going to need something to go on them. And we could really do with a logo of some kind, even if it is just Impact in bold with an outline. Which is what I used to throw this together in five minutes:

I invited The Twitter to improve on this atrocity and a couple of submissions came through:
Martin Fearn ran with the misspelling and gave us this:
![]()
While Woodrow Phoenix ran with the cat motif and gave us this rough draft:

In the traditional spirit of design competitions like this the winner will get absolutely nothing at all save a credit somewhere while everyone else will get a mild sense of disappointment over wasted effort.
Twitter a link to your design @brumfailcamp or leave it in the comments to this post. Thenk Ewe.

There needs to be more spelling mistakes in the logo.
Really?
People make the joke that we should move the event at the last minute to make the whole event a fail.
Why should the event celebrating failure be a failure too? Seems counter-productive to have something look poorly designed or poorly put together.
FAILCamp can still have an air of professionalism, can’t it?
Oh no I don’t think the event should be a failure. That would make me saaaad
I want to know I’m not the only person who fails, so if the event fails, I won’t meet other failures who embrace their falure as I do. And all the planning would be a waste of time.
By the way, I likes the 2nd logo.
My cat is a big ball of fail, she could be the mascot ;D
